How far is Casa Playa Baja from San Diego?

About 60 minutes south of the San Diego border, reached entirely by a safe toll road (the toll is around $4). Border, airport, and city pickups are available.

How many guests can you accommodate?

Ceremonies for up to 200 guests and receptions of 300 to 500. The resort sleeps up to 100 on-site overnight, with neighboring villas accommodating up to 200.

Do we need a passport or visa?

U.S. citizens and residents can visit the Baja tourist zone for up to 7 days without a visa, and a driver’s license is sufficient for a short stay crossing from California. International guests should check their own entry requirements.

Is the wedding legally recognized?

Yes. We have a bilingual, licensed attorney who can legally officiate and sign off on your ceremony on-site. You’re also welcome to handle the legal paperwork separately and celebrate the ceremony here.

What's included, and can we bring our own vendors?

We offer all-inclusive packages with planning, catering, bar, music, photography, décor, and officiant in-house — no outside wedding planner required. You’re always welcome to bring your own vendors or chef if you prefer.

How much does a wedding cost?
